Westco is a major fertilizer distributor and is owned by Viterra.
Westco was formed in 1964 and although no longer directly involved in manufacturing, Westco does retain a strong financial interest in Canadian Fertilizer Limited, a world-scale urea and ammonia plant.
As well, Westco operates four large storage and distribution facilities in Brandon, Manitoba; Elstow, Saskatchewan; Rycroft, Alberta; and Calgary, Alberta.
